I researched and built a pilot program for implementing augmented reality technology into Textron Aviation's manufacturing process. By wearing an augmented reality headset, operators can now easily determine how to assemble parts on the line.
I authored augmented reality work instructions for Longitude main landing gear subassembly, improving user learning curve by an estimated 24%. I presented a business case to Textron Aviation's CEO and senior leadership team, and the company is continuing to develop augmented reality use cases over one year later.
