Here are two research projects I have completed, both related to radio astronomy.
Radio Astronomy with LoFASM Telescope
Analyzed 4000+ minutes of solar data from Hillsdale College’s LoFASM radio telescope, obtaining the largest solar flares captured using LoFASM. I used Python and C++ to create an automated pipeline for converting and viewing LoFASM data. One of the largest solar flares I captured is shown above in the bottom left part of the poster.
Pulsar Candidate Analysis
Analyzed and ranked 1,000+ pulsar candidates from the Green Bank 100-m Telescope and the Parkes 64-m Radio Telescope. Additionally, I utilized the WISE W3, IPHAS, and SHS surveys in Aladin Sky Viewer to search for 60+ pulsar wind nebulae and presented research results at a NANOGrav teleconference.
